Halloo Hallay, Oh Frabjious Day!

My baby is back!

Her recently savaged derriere is once more as pert and toothsome as the day she fell into my arms.

She lowers her top as coquettishly as ever, with a smoothness that makes Kristin Scott-Thomas look like she's picking out a wedgie while wiping her nose on the sleeve of her shell-suit.

When she does cover herself like a blushing bride, she roars as bullishly as ever, but without any of the annoying squeaking noises like Karen Carter in 3rd year.

All is not perfect in the reunion, as the rear parking sensor is set to 'random'. It chirped brightly as I reversed onto an empty road, yet happily kept schtum as my boot approached the garage wall. Ho-Hum.

I obviously need to undertake a more detailed assessment (aka thrashing), but if all that needs fixing is the rear sensor, I'm as happy as Madonna in a Somali orphanage.

Huzzah!

Update -

Parking sensors settled down of their own accord after a good drive.

The car handles as well as before the shunt, no squeaks or noise from the roof, and the folding top has deployed without fault every time.

Shout-out to Walmley Repair & Care in B'ham. Good chaps!
